PZero
The PZero forms one of the most advanced UV curing concepts in use toady. The PZero is designed to deliver a low dose of UV energy to effect the arrest of dot gain and initiate adhesion of the ink to the substrate. Without further dot gain or ink matriculation, an image can be built up without the need to fully cure the ink until later in the process. Known as pinning, Integration Technology were the first organisation to create a commercial system from this hitherto theoretical concept.
The PZero is now in use across the world as part of a two stage inter-colour curing system on some of the fastest digital graphics printers available. A PZero pinning system can be tailored to suit the requirements of OEMs seeking to build advanced UV graphics systems.
