Miniature High Output UV LED Arrays

LEDZero Solidcure™ represents the very latest generation SLM (Semiconductor Light Matrix) technology using UV LED’s. The class leading compact footprint and lightweight LEDZero Solidcure™ is combined with high intensity output has been specifically designed for the moving head inkjet market, but is finding applications in many other areas.

The LEDZero Solidcure™ offers a number of significant advantages over conventional UV Systems including Instant on/off, significantly reduced heat towards the substrate and long service life. Furthermore the output from the array has a limited frequency spread and so the UV System does not produce ozone or harmful UVC.

The array may be specified in either of two standard wavelengths, 385 and 395nm with a further three alternative wavelengths 365nm, 375nm and 405nm by special order. This gives the option of closely matching the output wavelength of the UV System with the material to be cured for special applications. Offered at a standard array length of 80mm, the LEDZero Solidcure™ may be scaled in 7mm increments to a maximum length of in excess 1000mm to suit individual applications. The very high output power is maintained by the use of precise liquid cooling, irrespective of the local environment in which the array is installed.

As with any industrial product, serviceability is a key concern and the LEDZero Solidcure™ features patented field replaceable LED modules which plug into the clear plastic housing, making it the first truly serviceable SLM device. This liquid cooled synthetic housing design accurately maintains the optimum temperature of the LED dies under all running conditions avoiding condensation. The drivers for the LED modules are also mounted on the head and offer the ability to control the power of the LED infinitely from 5-100%.
